How To Buy SL 225 Stage Banners

Sl 225 stage banners

If you’ve rented an SL 225 for your outdoor event, music festival or concert, you’ve taken the first step towards putting on a great event. The next step is to make sure the stage looks it’s best by designing and ordering the right size banners to fit on your mobile stage.

Here’s how ensure your banners are going to look great.

Best Way To Design Your SL 225 Mesh Banners

Your stage banner design should be simple, easy to read, and fit well with your event’s aesthetic. Keep messaging simple, using large text and logos, and make sure to prominently feature your event’s branding colors throughout the banner art.

If you have multiple sponsors and you need to display the logo all of them, try and space them out enough that they’re easy to read. Simple solid color backdrops work well behind multicolored sponsor logos by keeping the focus on the sponsor logos.

We recommend using the same color scheme and thematic elements across all banners on the stage for a unified appearance.

What Size Banners Do You Need For SL 225 Stage Banners?

Once you decide which of the banners you want on your SL 225 stage at your event, you’ll need to know the right size banner for the stage.

Here is the full specs for all the banners on the SL 225:

Stage Backdrop: 17’3″ Tall x 31’4″ Wide

How Long Does It Take To Print My SL 225 Speaker Banners And Backdrop?

It’s important to make sure you have enough time to have your banners printed and delivered for your event. Waiting until the last minute can be stressful for you, and your banner printer, as well as adding potential rush fees or extra costs for expedited shipping.

Production time is typically 5-7 business days, plus a few days shipping time depending where you are located in North America. At NorthCoast Banners, we can move faster on the production side, though rush fees may be applicable.

When planning your timeline to have your banners in hand, make sure you consider your stage install date, not just the start date of your event. If the stage is being set up a day or two before your event, you will want to have the banners on hand at least a day before the planned installation. The easiest way to install the banners on the SL 225 stage is as the stage is being set up.

Ideally, get in touch with your SL 225 banner printing company at least 3 weeks prior to the need-in-hands date, so you’ll have the time to ensure your banners look beautiful and arrive on time without the last minute stress.

What Is The Best Material For SL 225 Speaker Banners?

For a mobile stage speaker banners, you will want vinyl mesh banners.

Vinyl mesh allows the wind to pass through, reducing the load on the stage. For most cases, we recommend 70/30 vinyl mesh – 70% material and 30% blow through. The transparency of the material allows air, and music, to flow through.

For high wind situations, 30/70 mesh is a better option – 30% material, 70% blow through. With 70% of the material open, 30/70 mesh allows even more wind to pass easily through the banners without strain on the stage.

Either mesh weight should be fire resistant and NFPA 701 compliant in order to be installed on the SL 225 mobile stage.

All our vinyl mesh banners for SL 225 stages come with reinforced hems all four sides, which strengthens the banner and improves the longevity and durability.

How To Hang Your SL 225 Mesh Banners

Hanging your stage banners is simple: as a standard add-on to all our stage banners, we install grommets every two feet on all four sides. If your stage rental company prefers a different banner configuration, let us know. Some staging companies prefer grommets every 1′, or only having grommets on the top and bottom of the banners.

Grommets make it easy to attach the mesh banners to the stage. Regardless of how the stage trussing system is set up, the grommets will provide you with an easy way to hang your banners beautifully.

And that’s it! It only takes a few minutes to order mesh banners, but if done right they’ll provide your event with an added touch of professionalism and set the tone for your festival or event.
