Large Format Mesh Banners For Cost Effective Advertising

Using bright colors and large images, our large format banners are designed to get your products and your message noticed. Every one of our banners is printed with digital printers using UV-resistant inks. There are no additional fees for full-color printing, so you can be as creative with colors and graphics as you like and get the branding you need.

Mesh banners are hung using grommets, which we usually place every 2 feet on all four sides. You can include pole pockets top and bottom on your mesh banners, and hang them via poles.

Solid vinyl banners are used mostly for either small size banners, where you’re hanging them in front of a trade show booth, an area in your store, or other indoor situations. The only time you’ll want to print large format solid vinyl – really, big solid vinyl – would be when it is being installed against a wall. Otherwise, it will turn into a sail.

Mesh banners are much better than solid vinyl when you’re doing outdoor events, outdoor areas with a lot of wind. Mesh allows the air to flow through so even huge 20′ x 30′ foot banners will stand up to the weather.

Blowthrough mesh banners come in two main banner types:

70/30 mesh is 70% percent material, and 30% holes. It is the most commonly used mesh by our customers, far and away the best balance for most situations. Your eye tends to notice only the graphics, and not the holes, so you end up seeing a nice, clear graphic.
30/70 mesh is 30% percent material, and 70% percent holes. 30/70 vinyl mesh is used in high wind situations. Check out the 30/70 mesh banner photos in this gallery, look for the JFest pics. They do allow much more wind to pass through, but you’ll notice in those photos how much less graphics you end up seeing. Think about it this way: in every square foot, you’ll see only 30% of actual graphic. Your eye will justify the difference, but it won’t pop nearly as much as standard 70/30 mesh will.

A mesh banner weighs one pound for every 15 square feet. It’s simple to get the weight of a mesh banner: just calculate the total surface area * 0.065 = weight in lbs. For example, a 10′ x 10′ banner weighs 6.5 lb.
